KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Truman led all the way. 16 – 13 after 1, 37 -27 at the half.  Truman scored the first 12 points in the second half and ended the quarter at 50 -33.  Truman dominated the 4th quarter and ended the game at 63 – 46.

Kennedy:
LEADING STATISTICAL PERFORMERS
Thomas Massey has 33 points and Marquan Armstrong has 30.  They are both tied with 24 rebounds.  Norman Grinstead has 4 assists and Chris Lawrence leads with 10 steals.

KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Thomas Massey led all scorers with 21 points.  Chris Lawrence had 12 points and 5 steals and Marquan Armstrong had 10 points and 5 rebounds.  Truman trailed 12-6 at the end of 1 but stormed back to take a 34-30 lead at the half.  Truman’s depth and constant harassment allowed them to pull away and lead 55-47 after 3.  Kennedy’s legs gave way and Truman’s superior conditioning took over in the final stanza as the Cougars coasted to a 20 point decision.

Wayne:

KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Marquan Armstrong led all scorers with 15 points and he also had 13 rebounds and 2 steals. Tevin Dixon added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Will LaBlanc had 7 points including a 3 pointer from half court to end the first half. Truman led 20 to 16 at half time. Truman pulled away in the 3rd quarter to lead 41 to 27. Truman was very rusty after 2 weeks off but a win is a win.

KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Truman played very ugly but still won. Marquan Armstrong was the leading scorer with 18 points. Thomas Massey had 14 points. Norman added 11 points including three 3 pointers. Truman led 14 to 9 at the end of the first quarter and 26 to 18 at half time. In the third quarter we kept the lead 39 to 31.

Truman got their butt kicked. Our leading scorer was Marquan Armstrong, with 8 points. Chris Lawrence helped with 6 points. Truman trailed 23 to 12 half time and cut it within 7 in the 3rd quarter. But then Ypsilanti pulled away in the 4th.

Truman won a very sloppy basketball game. Thomas Massey led us with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Dakar Brown also had 12 points and 4 assists. Norman Grinstead had 5 assists and 5 steals. Truman lead the first quarter 34-24, second quarter 63-32, third quarter 32-63, and the final score was 70-46.

KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Truman led 12 – 11 at the end of the 1st quarter and 22 – 20 at the half.  Monroe surged to a 46 – 36 lead after three, but could not hold up to the Cougar pressure in the 4th.  Truman erased a 10 point deficit in the last three minutes and Marquan Armstrong tipped in the winning basket at the buzzer to win it.  Junior Devontay Mitchell led all scorers with 14 points followed by Thomas Massey’s 13 and Marquan’s 9 points and 7 rebounds.

Romulus

Marquan Armstrong has 13.8 points per game. Thomas Massey has 11.0 points per game.  Marquan leads with 74 rebounds (29 offensive) and Thomas has 65 boards and 19 steals.  Norman Grinstead has 20 assists and also leads with 22 steals.                                               

KEY POINTS/HIGHLIGHTS OF THE GAME/MATCH:
Truman J.v beat romulus for the first time in several years. The leading scorer was Dakar Brown with 20. Following him was Marquan Armsrong with 16 points. In the first quarter Truman led 17-13. At half time truman also led 26-25. The final score was 67-56.

Willow Run

Truman beat a tough, undefeated Belleville team 62- 60 on Thomas Massey’s shot at the buzzer.  Truman played well throughout the see-saw affair.  Thomas led all scorers with 26 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists.  Tevin Dixon had 15 points and 5 rebounds and Marquan Armstrong scored 11 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in limited minutes.
